Build a Better Book Project
Led HS students across the country (Colorado, DC, Massachusetts) to design, prototype, and fabricate multimodal products informed by Universal Design principles and clients with accessibility considerations (blind and low vision, auditory, and different learning modalities). Implemented Build a Better Book project in public libraries, schools, and educational nonprofits.
Students engaged with: sound board recording and sound engineering; multilingual instruction; tactile materials; CNC machining; laser cutting; 3D printing; Braille; electronics; and more.
