Low-CAD Workshops
Brief
This section is dedicated to the development of low to no CAD onramps to digital fabrication. Programs and workshops have been developed with many collaborators and used in programs across the US.
Inspiration takes many forms, but lowering barriers to entry is important for connecting to individuals who may not see themselves in STEAM fields or identify as users of creative technologies. Key insights: Lower the floors, start in the middle, sketch-to-machine, and when in doubt, quilt it!
